Summer School 2012 Approval Form
Summer School at Atlanta Country Day School is taught in the same relaxed format as classes
throughout the school year. A four day school week (Monday – Thursday) is employed and both morning and
afternoon classes are available. There are three different sessions for semester classes and four different
sessions for quarter classes. All High School Level courses are offered including foreign languages and laboratory
sciences. Middle School programs are also available. Class size averages four to six students per class.
Classes are taught by Atlanta Country Day School faculty. These are not “on-line” or “complete the packet” classes.
Teachers teach each subject and are available to not only instruct, but to answer questions and aid in the learning
process.
All classes taught at Atlanta Country Day School meet the seat time requirements of the State of Georgia,
as well as SACS and GAC.
